Swasan: Fix You (Episode 27)

So. A little drama starts from here. Sorry to you all as I know every Swasan fan freaking hate Kavita for her planning, plotting and scheming. But that’s how the story continues with twists and turns or else what else will I possibly write. But I promise I won’t write any typical plot. It will be different and hopefully you all will like it …

~~Meet Kavita~~

Sanskar’s pov ~~

Undoubtedly, that day was one of the best days of my life. I was shaking, I could feel my heart drop in the bottom of my tummy. There were nothing but a ton of negative thoughts running in my mind.

What if she just says no? What if nothing goes as planned? What if she doesn’t like my surprise?

But all these thoughts were put to a rest as we reached the top of the ride. I could see the whole city in front of my eyes. It was breathtakingly beautiful, and then, there was another thing…right in front of my eyes who looked equally beautiful. More than that, if I can say.

Just looking into her eyes and taking her hand in mine gave me so much confidence. I knew, she was the one. And this, was the perfect time to take it to the next level.

I did it. It took a while for that to sink in, but eventually,it did. I couldn’t have been luckier.

“How was it?” I asked, once we were out. She stopped talking, and turned to face me. Her arms wrapped around my neck, as she stood on her toes ti plant her lips on mine. That was enough to answer my question.

I smiled and gladly kissed her back.
“Do you still want to know?” She asked. I laughed and shook my head, as she went back on her feet.

“Well, somebody just told me right here, sometime back, that they were afraid of heights?” I asked, mocking her.

“Not anymore, you know.” She replied dramatically, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

“I’m not afraid of anything anymore. Till the time I have you, I don’t think I have anything to be afraid of.” She added.

“You’re right. When Sanskar is here not to fear.” I winked and felt extremely stupid for saying a cheesy old line. She laughed.

“Aww, my Superman!” She exclaimed as I ran a hand through my hair embarrassingly.

Soon, we walked back to the car park. Since neither me, nor Swara was in a mood to go back to the hotel, we roamed a little more in the same area.

After what seemed like a very long time, I saw Swara happy. For real. I could see it, that she wasn’t happy just for the sake of me or anyone else. But somehow, I couldn’t agree to it completely.

It was around 7:30 pm, when we decided to head back to the hotel. The fact that I had a performance the next day was completely ignored by me. Thus, not wanting to cause anymore trouble, we headed back early.

I parked the car as Swara was about to get out when I stopped her. I don’t know why, but I kept on worrying about her. I knew how happy she was. I could see it on her face, but I wanted to hear it from her. I guess, I just wanted to make sure that I hadn’t failed in being a good boyfriend for her.

“Swara…” She stopped on hearing my voice.

“Kya?” She replied with a smile and tinge of innocence on her face.

I sighed and looked into her eyes. I wanted to know it so bad. I couldn’t help but ask her,

“Are you happy?”

She blinked a couple of times, looking at me as if I had gone mad. I could see no answer in her reaction. She was blank, and I was regretting asking her this question.

“No. I mean, tu sach mein khush hai na? Dekh, mere liye haan mat bol. I just feel like, I don’t know maybe, like I have lacked somewhere. I just want you to he genuinely happy.” I said.

A long silence prevailed as she just kept in staring at me like she had seen a ghost. She got me worried with that. I was about to speak up, when she practically yelled at me.

“Tu paagal hain? Haan? Thappad maarungi agar aisa socha bhi toh.” She said, pushing me against the door.

“How can you be so silly! You called me stupid that day, tu khud bhi waisa hi nikla na? How can even think that I’m not happy?” She asked and for the first time, I saw her anger.

Even though it didn’t worry me, I was glad to get a reaction.

“Can’t you see how happy I am? It’s all because of you, you fool. I’m not pretending to be happy just for your sake, and you better know it, Mr. Sanskar Kapoor. I love you, yaar! I’m genuinely happy. You’ve made me realize what it feels like to be happy. So don’t get any doubts in that little head of yours, is that clear?” She asked, pulling me by the collar of my shirt.

I smiled at the way she said all that. She was so bossy yet so cute.

“All clear, ma’am. I’m sorry.” I replied wrapping my arms around her waist. Within seconds, her frown turned into a smile, as she shook her head and moved back.

We headed inside the hotel, only to be welcomed by Laksh, Abeer and Rohan in the lobby. They all look worried. Not like…too worried, but like someone was about to get screwed up,and they knew who.

“Hi!” Swara greeted happily. Laksh managed to maintain a smile on his face, but the other two couldn’t. Rohan was whispering something to Abeer, while Abeer hopelessly looked at me.

“Kya?” I asked, irritated by the way those two looked at me. I felt like the outsider in a school in front of whom the other kids spoke in each other’s ears.

“Uh, kuch nahi.” Rohan muttered.

I made a mental note to ask them later about it, since, I thought maybe they were uncomfortable to say it in front of Swara.

Swara was talking to Laksh, who looked completely normal. SwaLak had become very close to each other. Like 4 am buddies. And somewhere, I was a little jealous of this growing SwaLak bond. But that’s natural, isn’t it?

“Swara, let’s go. You must be tired.” I said, dragging her inside.

But I was stopped as Abeer and Rohan came running after me. The two stepped in front of us, blocking the way.

“No! Bhai, you can’t go. N-not now.” Abeer said.

“And why is that so?” I asked.

He looked at Rohan awkwardly, while Rohan looked at Laksh who stood behind me. They seemed to say something in a secret language which obviously I didn’t understand.

“Hello? Are you guys okay?” I aske, snapping them out of their so-called conversation.

“Uh… Y-yeah! Tu ruk yahan! Let’s sit, have fun. Its just 8.” Laksh piped in.

“Yeah, but you guys must be tired…” I trailed off, but Rohan cut me in between.

“No way. Nobody is tired. Come, lets sit here for a while.” He said, dragging her back. I shrugged as Swara and I walked back with the guys, when suddenly, I heard my name being called out.

“Sanskar. . . ?” It was girl’s voice. A very familiar girl’s voice. The one I could never forget.

My heart skipped a beat as I stopped dead on my tracks. I just hoped real bad that it wasn’t her. . .

I just wanted to walk away, but it was too late then. Somehow, my curiosity had forced me to turn around and see that face.

I think my heart stopped beating for a millisecond as I saw her. That straight long brunette hair, hazel eyes, think lined lips, a fair complexion, tall and towering…she stood in front of me, flaunting her smile.

“Kavita…” I blurted out, completely stunned by her existence.

Only one question popped in my mind –what the hell was she doing here?

I looked at Laksh, Rohan and Abeer who stood there with an apologetic look on their faces.

They knew…they f**king knew! And that was why they were trying to keep me away from going in.

Damn, these intelligent bastards…

Kavita walked over to me, clicking off her heels and unexpectedly pulled me into a hug. Mentally, I punched myself for this biggest mistake of my life.

“How are you? I’ve missed you so much!” She said, pulling me back. From the corner of my eye, I could see Swara smiling with a confused look plastered on her face.

I wanted to run away, when Kavita looked at Swara. She gasped and gushed like those typical girls did after seeing a celebrity.

“Oh my gosh, aren’t you Swara? Like, Sanskar’s Swara?” She asked over excited.

“Uh yeah. I guess.” Swara said, awkwardly.

“I’m sorry. That’s how I was introduced to Sanskar’s new girlfriend inside.” Swara stated.

“Anyway, its really nice to meet you. I’m Kavita, by the way…. Sanskar’s ex-girlfriend.”

f**king great :)

Awkward? Well you already must me freaking HATE her? Let me know.

Next update : Peaceful sleep
