Swasan: Fix You (Episode 5)

~~Boys can blush!~~

Sanskar’s pov ~~

I cursed mentally as I saw the fans and the paps clicking pictures of me. The worst part was that… it wasn’t me alone. There was Swara with me as well. I looked at Swara who was already looking at me. She clutched her bag in her left hand tightly and gave me a confused look.

“It’s okay. Just hold my hand and don’t answer any of their questions. Ignore them, okay ?” I said giving her an assuring look. She nodded.

“Is it okay, if I drop you home ? Its just that I don’t want you in trouble because of all this.” I said.

“Its okay. Lets go.” She said and smiled weakly. I returned the same smile and slipped my hands into hers.

The moment our hands touched, it sent shivers down my spine. Her hand was cold and locked with mine. I squeezed her hand a little and gave her an assuring smile. She sighed as we walked outside, surrounded by flashes.

“Who is this mystery girl? Sanskar, are you two dating? Is she your girlfriend? Who is she?”

I could hear so many questions which were really annoying. These people definitely don’t know the meaning of privacy.

Somehow, I made our way towards the car which was parked on the opposite side of the road. Swara sat in and so did I. She sighed.

“I’m so sorry. I had no idea that they’d be there…” I said.

“Its okay..” She said with a weak smile. I wasn’t convinced by that. I asked her out, when everything was going good and then these media people had to come ruin it.

“No. I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to ruin our date..” I said and her head snapped up. She looked at me with wide eyes and I’d realized what I had just said. Date? Oh God Sanskar…

“Date?” She asked raising her eyebrows.

“um…y-yeah…I-I mean.. wasn’t it a d-date ?” I said running a hand in my hair.

I was too embarrassed even to look at her. I screwed up. Maybe she didn’t think it was a date…

“Was it a date?” She asked herself.
‘Okay, Sanskar. You’ve embarrassed yourself already enough.’ I thought.
I didn’t know what to say her now.
“Yeah…I guess.” I said as suddenly I felt heat rising up my cheeks. Suddenly she gasped and look at me in shock.

“Are you…..blushing ?” She asked.
‘Blushing? No! Girls do that!’ I thought. But I knew I was blushing.

“N-no. Girls do that! You do t-that!” I said quickly looking away.

“Oh stop it. By the way.. Guys who blush are kinda cute…” She said.

Cute? Really?

“So you’re saying I’m cute?” I asked smirking. She looked at her fingers.

“I didn’t say that..” She said trying her best not to smile. But she gave up too soon, and the beautiful smile was back on her lips.

“But you meant that…” I said in the same tone.

“I didn’t mean anything! Now can we please leave ?” She asked.

“Okay..” I shrugged and drove off as she gave me directions to her house.

Surely, this girl was driving me crazy. At first, she was so shy and quiet. But I was glad that as time passed, she became more and more comfortable with me. Of course, I wanted to meet her again and I hoped she wanted the same. No girl ever had such an effect on me.

I liked her… alot…
